Park Hyatt Phu Quoc Residences

The first Park Hyatt resort in Vietnam

Park Hyatt branded villas on the south-west of Phú Quốc island, with the mountains behind and the sea in front.

Huỳnh Ngọc’s view

What I like

Brand: this is Park Hyatt, the most exclusive line of the Hyatt group. It is also the first Park Hyatt resort in Vietnam, positioned at the ultra-luxury end.

Location: the project is on the south-west of the Pearl Island, with the mountains behind it and the sea in front. The sand here is a golden brown, quite unlike the other beaches I have visited on Phú Quốc.

A design steeped in Vietnamese culture: the resort is like a Vietnamese village by the sea, with paths shaded by bamboo and terraced fields. The villa roofs recall the traditional three-room house. The interiors use lacquer, rattan and bamboo weaving, and bronze: familiar and homely, yet luxurious and unique.

The hotel is about to open: according to the official announcement, Park Hyatt Phu Quoc is expected to open in December 2026, welcoming guests from 18 December 2026.

The first time I walked into Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, I felt both overwhelmed and at home. The space is completely secluded, and every detail has been looked after with care.

What to weigh up

The location in the south of the island is quiet and private, but far from Dương Đông and Bãi Dài in the north. It suits you if you want a complete rest rather than outings and lively dining.

Owners join the rental programme and have 20 nights’ stay each year. A small number of villas are for buyers who want to live in them themselves, still managed by Park Hyatt (details will follow).

Tenure: commercial and service land, for a term of 70 years.

Management fee: 23,500 đồng per m² of land per month, excluding VAT.

Who it suits

You collect branded property and want a Park Hyatt villa, of which there are very few: only 54 villas.

You want a truly private, high-class place to stay for the whole family, with several generations travelling together.

You want to build up an asset to hold for your family over the long term.

This is Huỳnh Ngọc’s view from her own experience of the project. Updated November 2026.
